Married At First Sight fans poke fun at gym advertising that ‘groom’ Steve Burley works out there  

Steve Burley may be a controversial figure on Married At First Sight but he’s certainly known for his buff physique. 

And it turns out lucky fans can work out in the very same place that the muscular 51-year-old does. 

The Instagram account MAFS Funny has tracked down a large sign posted outside the Brighton, Victoria  gym that the barber attends.

The sign reads: ‘Steve Burley from MAFS keeps fit here’ alongside a huge photo of the reality star using some equipment. 

Fans found the plug hilarious, with many poking fun at the ad, saying it might have the opposite effect. 

One person commented under the photo: ‘Is this sign to get people not to go there or?’

Another person commenting on the photo chimed in: ‘Is this so you know NOT to go?’ 

Yet another fan added: ‘This is a clear warning not to go and train there!’ while someone else felt it was ‘really cringe’. 

Someone else joined in the roast, adding a popular sentiment: ‘So now we know where not to go!!’

Yet one more person added: ‘Definitely not good advertising in my view!’ 

Someone else chimed in: ‘Some might go once for the freak value but I don’t know it would be a big incentive for a lot of people to join the gym.’ 

Several fans confirmed that they had seen the sign driving by the venue – and the feedback was not all bad.

One fan said they were ‘inspired’ by the advertisement, while others tagged friends to take a look.
