Married At First Sight star Ashley Irvin reveals her exciting new career

She was recently spotted jetting out of Sydney after filming the Married At First Sight all-stars reunion.

And Ashley Irvin had some exciting news for fans on Monday, revealing she has embarked on a new career path.

The 31-year-old, who lost her job as a Virgin Australia flight attendant at the start of the coronavirus pandemic in April, revealed she has enrolled in a nursing course at Queensland University of Technology.

‘So excited to be starting my graduate degree in nursing next year at QUT,’ she wrote on Instagram.

‘Covid kind of made me re-evaluate my life and I’m so glad it did. I am going to try and do full-time nursing and full-time flight attending, so wish me luck.’

She concluded: ‘Goodbye social life. P.S. look how smug I look with my new laptop.’ 

In the accompanying photo, the blonde bombshell showed off her ample assets in a plunging dress while posing next to her laptop.

In April, Ashley shared an emotional post to Instagram in which she reminisced about some of her best memories working for Virgin Australia.

‘Missing my Virgin family more than I ever thought I would… Hope to be back in the air soon,’ she wrote.

Ashley posted a variety of pictures, including a photo of herself wearing a yellow hi-vis vest while sitting in front of a stationary engine.

She shot to fame on Married At First Sight in 2018 alongside ‘husband’ Troy Delmege. They are no longer together but remain friends.

Ashley was spotted in Sydney last week filming the all-stars reunion special, alongside the likes of Sarah Roza, Ines Basic and Nasser Sultan.
