‘Yes I care about George Floyd and his horrible and pointless murder at the hands of a police officer.

‘But I’d also like to draw attention the the likes of David Dungay who died in a similar way and the other 432 deaths of Aboriginal people in custody in Australia for which not one police officer has ever been charged.’

Dean went on to condemn looters involved in the riots around the United States.

‘Yes, black lives matter so do Aboriginal lives and all lives. And rioting and looting isn’t helping anyone. Protest yes.

‘But don’t kid yourself that looting a big screen TV from Target is in any way helping the real situation,’ he concluded.

The national unrest in the USA began less than a week ago in Minneapolis when Floyd, a 46-year-old security guard, died after police officer Derek Chauvin kneeled on the back of his neck, while he was handcuffed, rendering him unable to breathe in a horrifying incident that was caught on camera.

Derek Chauvin has since been fired and charged in the incident.

Dean appeared on the 2018 season of Married At First Sight and controversially cheated on his TV wife, Tracey Jewel with co-star Davina Rankin.

Last year, he returned to reality TV with a stint on Dancing With The Stars.
