Married At First Sight’s first openly bisexual male groom has hit back at an online troll for questioning his sexuality.
Liam Cooper, who appeared on the most recent season of the show, lashed out on Instagram after a troll said he was ‘100% gay… definitely not bi’.
‘How sad you must be to go out of your way to follow me just to make comments like this,’ Liam responded.

‘I really do not understand how/why you would want to go out of your way to comment like this?’ he continued.
‘What gives you the right to judge me? I hope you teach your children not to judge like you do. Maybe if you’re bored, get a hobby or something.’
Last week, Liam announced that he will be attending the Big Gay Day in Brisbane next month.

‘I am excited to announce that I will be attending Big Gay Day this Sunday the 2nd of May,’ he wrote of the appearance.
‘I will be at the chapel from 1:30-2:30. So come down and say hi.’
The event raises money for LGBTQIA+ charities with him going on to say he is ‘honoured’ to be part of the day.
According to the event’s website, it was established in 2000 as a celebration of the LGBTQIA+ community and a way to raise vital funds for charities.
Big Gay Day has since evolved to one of Brisbane’s biggest street parties.

It comes after Liam went rogue over his edit on the show after he was seen refusing to acknowledge Georgia Fairweather at the reunion dinner.
The 30-year-old prison case officer attacked producers of the show and their editing tactics for not showing what really happened.
In a leaked Snapchat video, posted just minutes after the episode aired, Liam expressed his anger for the way producers edited his arrival at the dinner party and failed to mention the reason he was angry during the show’s reunion.
‘How in God’s name are you guys covering this edit up?’ he says in the clip.

‘Like [the dinner party] was solely based around the (homophobic) video that came out from Georgia, Johnny, Jason, that video was f**king disgusting,’ he continued.
Explaining his version of events, Liam said: ‘Tonight at the very start of the dinner party, we all went to town and questioned Jason about the video.’
‘I pulled Georgia up on this video … Georgia sat there and said that she was sorry. And then I said to her, ‘now you’re only sorry, because you’ve been caught out’, and then everyone else jumped in and we talked about it.’
‘Jason just sat there with a smug look on his face and didn’t even want to talk about it,’ he said.

Liam told his followers he was ‘disgusted’ that he was edited to make it look like he walked into the room and ignored his former bride for drama.
‘I would never, ever diss the editing, but to sit there and not show me, walk into the reunion and ignore Jason straight up, and then walk around and then ignore Georgia because of the video … that is f**ked on so many levels,’ he said.
Liam was left feeling betrayed after his ex-‘wife’ Georgia Fairweather laughed along in a leaked video of their co-star Jason Engler calling him ‘ugly’, ‘chubby’ and a ‘full-blown homosexual’.
