Married At First Sight’s Connie Crayden sparks new trend with her two-tone hairstyle as K-pop superstar Jennie Kim sports the SAME look in Blackpink’s new music video

Married At First Sight’s Connie Crayden recently shocked fans by getting a bold two-tone hairstyle.

And while the striking look has divided public opinion, it looks like the reality star is right on trend with the edgy style.

On Friday, Korean girl group Blackpink released the music video for their new single How You Like That, which featured member Jennie Kim sporting the exact same hairstyle as Connie.

Just like the Married At First Sight bride, K-pop star Jennie sported long black hair with bleach blonde bangs.

Blackpink’s new music video has already made quite the impact, racking up 60 million views in just 15 hours to become the biggest music video premiere in the history of YouTube.

While many will likely credit Jennie for starting the two-tone trend, Connie actually debuted the look three days before the South Korean superstar did.

Connie showcased the look on June 13 with an Instagram selfie, in which she revealed that she’d adopted the look during an earlier trip to the hairdresser.

‘Okay about my hair. Last week I went back to see the talented hair wizard @hairbytaylorhague at @blondeand.co,’ Connie wrote.

‘I told her I need something a bit quirky, something that’s more me…. she did not disappoint,’ she added.

Meanwhile, Jennie’s hair was first unveiled on June 15 in a promotional photo for Blackpink’s new single.

Connie’s not the only celebrity to adopt the look, with Instagram model Imogen Anthony also jumping on the trend in recent weeks.

Imogen debuted her look the same day as Connie, although her version was less striking, with light brown hair instead of the jet black that Connie and Jennie have.
