Married At First Sight’s Stacey Hampton confronts love rival Hayley Vernon during a tense night out

‘I’m the victim!’ Married At First Sight’s Stacey Hampton confronts love rival Hayley Vernon during a tense girls’ night… before dramatically storming out with Elizabeth Sobinoff

A girls’ night out led to a tense confrontation between Hayley Vernon and Stacey Hampton on Monday’s episode of Married At First Sight, with Elizabeth Sobinoff also weighing in.

After seeing the other brides chatting happily with Hayley – who famously kissed Stacey’s ‘husband’ Michael Goonan during a wild night out – Stacey confronted the 32-year-old.

‘I’m the victim. I’m sorry, are we forgetting what’s happening right now? I can’t stand this. I am done,’ an incredulous Stacey, 26, declared following an earlier argument where Hayley questioned her credentials as a lawyer.

She continued, asking Hayley: ‘What gives you the audacity to attack me… And you’re sitting here acting like, “Oh, I get off scot-free ’cause I’ve owned it.” Who do you think you are?’

A dismissive Hayley told Stacey to ‘calm down’, before rolling her eyes and muttering, ‘Jesus Christ.’

Lizzie, 29, who came late to this year’s season of the hit reality show, then turned and asked fellow bride Cathy Evans for the truth, before choosing Stacey’s side.

‘I’m all about girl code and I’m all about females sticking together. Stacey was getting hammered and dismissed, and no one was standing up for her,’ said Lizzie.

She added: ‘I can’t sit there and listen to someone be a bully and degrade someone.’

Lizzie then launched into a verbal tirade at Hayley, standing up and yelling, while waving her pointed finger in Hayley’s face.

‘She does not owe you an explanation… Done! Done! Disgusting, disgusting behaviour! You don’t go that low! That is disgusting! You should feel ashamed of yourself for that s**t!’ Lizzie screamed.

Stacey then threw her napkin in Hayley’s face, before walking out of the girls’ night alongside Lizzie, leaving everyone else stunned.

‘I don’t want to go back in there. I’m not putting you back in there,’ a determined Lizzie told Stacey, with the two women then refusing to rejoin the group.

Married At First Sight continues Tuesday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
