The Melbourne-based barber explained that he initially shaved his forehead to emphasise his famous quiff.

On Wednesday, he told a fan he’s now ‘naturally growing’ the front part of his hair out, and insisted his tresses are all natural after being trolled over the strange style.

‘I’ve been hammered for my fringe, so I’m on the way back. Now get off my back haha,’ Steve joked as he debuted his new trendy hairstyle this week.

‘Get excited my hairline is on its way back,’ he added.

In April, Steve finally revealed why he started shaving his forehead after fans picked up on the detail and were confused as to why he’d purposely recede his hair.

‘Yes I used to shave my forehead after a barber cut my hair like that,’ he said. ‘I’m growing it back. I had my hairline done like this years and years ago.’

He added that he ‘now regrets it’ after the speculation about his appearance.
