MasterChef: Back to Win premiered on Channel Ten on Monday night.

And guest star, chef Gordon Ramsay, delivered in spades, with many sharing their thoughts on social media.

‘What a good start. I’m hooked,’ one fan tweeted, while another added: ‘Gotta admit…I love seeing Gordon Ramsay enjoying himself like this!’

Multiple Twitter users even suggested the English chef, who is a judge on the US version of the program, should be a permanent fixture on the show.

‘It’s weird without Gary, Matt and George. I wish Gordon was an official judge,’ one viewer commented.

Another wrote: ‘Gordon looks really happy to be there and is definitely making the transition to the new judges smoother. Can we keep him full-time?’

MasterChef Australia: Back To Win sees 24 contests from past seasons of the show return to the kitchen in a bid to win a cash prize of $250,000.

This year’s season will see celebrity guest judges appearing every few weeks – with Katy Perry and fellow chef Curtis Stone already confirmed to appear.

Gordon previously appeared on MasterChef Australia as a guest judge back in 2018.
