She narrowly missed out on the MasterChef 2020 title, placing runner-up to Emelia Jackson during the season finale last week.

And on Tuesday, Laura Sharrad offered fans a glimpse inside the very modern kitchen she shares with her husband, Max, which is equipped with the latest appliances.

Laura, 24, who is known for skill in cooking Italian dishes, showcased the ‘favourite room’ of her Adelaide home in an exclusive photo shoot for Daily Mail Australia,.

‘My kitchen is very modern and simple; it’s my favourite room in my house,’ she said. 

Laura’s kitchen features several tones of timber, concrete floors and brick walls.

A mix of silver and black appliances with black, hand-cut tiles contributes to an overall seamless look.

The popular chef has made no secret of her love for Smeg kitchen appliances, which she has previously featured on her social media accounts.

‘I have a number of tones complemented by my amazing appliances, both in stainless steel and retro black,’ she explained.

The kitchen is equipped with a ’50s-style refrigerator-freezer, an under-bench dishwasher and stand mixer – but Laura’s favourite appliance is the cooker.

It sits in the centre of her kitchen, and is supported by a wall-mounted, T-shaped rangehood.

Her modern kitchen is also furnished with several potted plants, including one by the window and another over the cooktop.
