Matty J jokes about fatherhood after welcoming second child with fiancé Laura Byrne

Matty J welcomed his second child, daughter Lola Ellis, with fiancé Laura Bryne in February.

And the former Bachelor star, 33, appears to be surviving life at home by making light of the highs and lows of fatherhood.

Taking to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday, he showcased some of the ‘sweet and innocent’ moments he’s had with the four-week-old – and how they compare to when she’s crying.

‘Ahhhh she’s just so sweet and innocent,’ he captioned one of the pictures to his account, where Lola is seen gently resting her head on her father’s chest. 

However, it was a different story for the father-of-two in a second post where Lola is seen crying into the crook of his neck.

A shocked Matty captioned the post: ‘Just kidding!!!!’

It is a new look for the former reality TV star, who usually appears cool, calm and collected in his Instagram posts.

He announced the arrival of Lola in a post on Instagram on February 4, alongside Laura, who he shares one-year-old Marlie-Mae with.

‘Lola Ellis Johnson… you had us all fooled! Everyone from your Mum, your Nana, the neighbour and even the postman thought you were going to be a boy,’ he captioned a series of photos of the adorable tot in hospital.

‘Playing pranks on us all already… I love it! I also love that I’m now well and truly outnumbered by 3 beautiful and rambunctious girls at home. Welcome to the family.’

Laura also shared a series of photos of Lola to Instagram, and revealed her surprise at welcoming a baby girl in a hilarious post. 

‘I said I would eat my own poop if you were a girl, and yet HERE YOU ARE,’ she joked.
