Meet Mia Ledbury: The Australian model on The Real Housewives of Jersey

Meet Mia Ledbury: The former Australian model who has joined The Real Housewives of Jersey… and when attacked ‘she’s certainly no angel’

The Real Housewives of Jersey premiered in the UK last week and has already been described as ‘a real-life soap opera’.

One of the new ladies is an Australian, former model Mia Ledbury, who is keen to dip her manicured toes back into the modelling world after becoming a mother-of-two.

In an interview with itv to promote the show, the 44-year-old described herself as ’50 per cent chilled and 50 per cent firecracker’.

Mia grew up in Sydney, Australia, and moved to London to pursue a modelling career 19 years ago.

In London, she met her husband Dan, and the couple and their two daughters, Honor and Isla, relocated to Jersey five years ago.

‘I stopped modelling to have my two girls, you can follow me through my journey from housewife back to cracking back into the modelling scene. Never say never, anything is possible!’ she said during the itv press rounds.

While she describes herself as a ‘mediator’, she insists she won’t ‘back down’ when attacked by any of the other housewives.

‘I would normally say I’m quite level headed and a bit of a mediator when it comes to drama, but I won’t back down if I’m being attacked,’ she said.

‘I try to be fair and see the best in people, but I am certainly no angel.’
