‘Logistically I don’t know how it’d work if they just chucked in a few token gay people in there. I think we need a whole gay series.

‘If you’re going to do it, do it properly! I’d definitely go back on there if there’s a gay season!’

‘I feel like Producers now will pick one bisexual girl who’ll be chucked on the show. She’ll get with a girl for a minute and then get with a guy and then that’s it, done. I feel like that’s definitely not good enough, we need a whole gay season.

‘Because it just wouldn’t work, chucking in a few gay guys, gay girls into a straight show, it’s not gonna work. They need to completely do a whole gay season, I mean I’d definitely watch that!’

Speaking further about the about the visibility of of bisexual people on reality shows, she went on: ‘I feel like it’s not enough, weather it’s Celebs Go Dating or Love Island or any of those shows, I feel like they just do the bare minimum.

‘They chuck in one bisexual girl who ultimately will probably get with a guy.  I don’t think that’s good enough. So yeah, we definitely need to see more.

‘I feel like Netflix is doing the most, they are actually really good, like every series I watch, there is a gay storyline which is great. But we need to see it from UK reality TV, definitely.’

Meanwhile, Megan told how it was ‘tough’ coming out of the Love Island villa and  how it was ‘tricky’ giving the impression that she was happy all the time.

She explained: ‘You almost come out and feel guilty for having a down day or for telling your followers that you’re not happy.

‘I felt like I had to be happy all of the time but that’s not real, so I found that tricky at first.’

‘My first break-up on Love Island. I took that really hard. I remember I posted crying in bed. It was to show that even though on the outside I’m going to all these amazing events, I’m still human.’

Megan, who has been open about going under the knife, also discussed being ‘ripped apart’ over her use of plastic surgery and admitted that getting a boob job and a nose job didn’t boost her confidence like she thought it would.

‘In the villa I got ripped apart’ she said. ‘There were two pictures of me in my teens, and I had the whole nation picking me apart as a fifteen year old.

‘I went to have surgery for myself and then people were like ‘you’re so fake’ so I couldn’t win. When I was 19 and I had a boob job and a nose job I thought I’d wake up on the operating table with loads of confidence, because I’m an introvert – it didn’t happen.’

She added: ‘Beauty is only skin deep but if you’re not happy with how you look that can lead to depression and eating disorders. If you want surgery just do it for you.

‘The first thing I had was my ears pinned back. I hated looking in the mirror. People at school were horrible.

‘In hindsight, maybe I did get my surgery done too young. I didn’t get it done too young because it would have consumed me. There’s no right or wrong age I don’t think.’
