Meghan King is educating herself on how to handle a firearm after practicing at a shooting range in Utah.
The 35-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County alum posted a series of Instagram snaps on Wednesday, revealing that she went for a day out at a firing range with her new boyfriend Christian Schauf – who she referred to as her ‘partner’ for the first time.
Meghan, who split with husband Jim Edmonds after five years of marriage last year amid claims they had a threesome, stated that her post was about ‘arming myself with knowledge under the instruction of professionals’ in a controlled environment.

Taking to her Instagram Stories, Meghan tagged her new man Christian saying: ‘I wouldn’t want to mess with us’ thought she later deleted the joke in favor of a more serious message.
She also said in the caption that ‘after a full weekend of training’ she now has ‘the knowledge and skills to match my pistol of a personality.’
In another post, where she is pictured with Christian, Meghan admitted that until this weekend getaway she had never handled a firearm in her life.
While she stressed that her post was not political or a pro-gun message, she explained: ‘As long as guns are legal to own (and as long as my partner hobbies in sports that include guns) I will arm myself with information about how to use and handle them. Knowledge is safety.’

Meghan – who highlighted to her followers that she was wearing a Gucci baseball cap – is seen in one video taking multiple shots during target practice.
She added that she was trying the new activity ‘for the first time’ but that she was doing it ‘in style of course.’
It seems that the former reality star is currently on a break near Yellowstone National Park, after posting another picture of herself posing on a rock, with the caption: ‘(Covid) can’t touch this.’

Meghan and Jim share three children together, Aspen, Hart, and Hayes.
