Mel C flashes abs in a chic white power suit as she promotes the reopening of the Royal Albert Hall

Mel C is one of the famous faces fronting the reopening of The Royal Albert Hall in London, as the UK’s entertainment venues prepare to welcome audiences once again.

In snaps taken by celebrated rock photographer Denis O’Regan, Mel has been pictured taking part in a video to re-launch the world famous venue.

Mel, 47, stuns in a crisp white power suit, over a black crop-top, flashing her famous Sporty Spice abs.

The black top features a slanted neckline, with Mel wearing her dark locks in choppy waves around her features.

Mel looks thrilled to be promoting the reopening of the Hall in the images, and is seen singing one of her hits for the video.

Other stars taking part in the re-launch are Tom Odell, Ballet Black’s Cira Robinson, Bryn Terfel, and fledgling acts Maisie Peters, Holly Humberstone, Baby Queen, Sophia Thakur, Henry Stone, and Samuel West.

The film is part of the Global Stages stream collaboration to mark the end of ‘the interval’ theatres and concert halls have been forced to take amid the COVID-19 crisis.

Mel will perform on May 21, with a further stream on May 22, featuring other artists.

Global Stages is a free online festival in collaboration with the Royal Albert Hall, Sydney Opera House, Shanghai Concert Hall, Royal Theatre Carré in Amsterdam, and the LA Philharmonic.

Recorded when doors were closed, the idea behind the campaign is to ‘bring you what we’ve been missing and can’t wait to have back – no matter where you are’. 

Recorded across a variety of empty spaces throughout the Royal Albert Hall, the event streams just a few days before the Hall reopens doors to audiences once more.
