Mindy Kaling recently gave birth to her second child, welcoming a baby boy named Spencer.
And the six-time Emmy nominee has a supportive star-studded group of friends to help make motherhood a breeze.
She revealed that pal Reese Witherspoon gave her the most thoughtful baby gift, after welcoming her newborn son back in September, following her secret pregnancy.

The 41-year-old told PopSugar: ‘I felt like the minute I got back from the hospital, there was a gorgeous gift for Spencer, with beautiful clothes and toys.
‘And this is why you know a gift is from Reese Witherspoon — she also got my older kid something. My daughter, who didn’t do anything, got all these beautiful clothes and toys, too.
‘And she sent us food, so we didn’t have to cook for four days. So, that’s to me just a very Reese Witherspoon-type present where it’s thoughtful but in a very macro way. Like, she really knows what’s going on in your life. That was impressive to me.’
She previously credited Oprah Winfrey as the best gift giver, when she welcomed her first child, daughter Katherine Swati, two, in December of 2017.

Kaling told Stephen Colbert of his baby gift in March of 2018: ‘It straight-up sucks compared to what Oprah gave me and I mean that with love. The bookcase was carved in the shape of an old-timey castle. It’s such a nice present! And yours was such a nice present.’
Kaling, Winfrey, 66, and Witherspoon, 44, starred together in Ava DuVernay’s 2018 feature adaptation of A Wrinkle In Time.
