Mollie King posts rare photo with boyfriend Stuart Broad as she takes part in viral first photo challenge with sweet throwback snap

They’ve been dating on and off since 2018 and are currently self-isolating together in Nottingham amid the coronavirus lockdown.

And on Sunday afternoon, Mollie King, 32, posted a rare photo with boyfriend Stuart Broad, 33, for viral first photo challenge, which involves social media users sharing the first photo taken with their significant other.

The former Saturdays singer took to Instagram to share a sweet throwback snap of herself on a romantic date with the professional cricketer.

Mollie sported a short blonde bob in the photograph as she enjoyed a glass of wine with her beau.

After being nominated for the challenge by Laura Whitmore, the Radio One presenter continued the chain, nominating a few friends to take part.

Stuart has been attempting to teach Mollie how to play cricket as they enjoy quality time together while the country is in lockdown in a bid to stem the spread of COVID-19.

The former England cricket captain shared a cute video of the pair having fun as they got in some batting practise with a garden cricket set up.

The pair were thought to have gone their separate ways in August 2018 after a blossoming romance of five months.

The couple  were said to have unfollowed each other to heal and their packed schedules were reportedly to blame for the split, according to The Sun.

A source said at the time: ‘Mollie and Stuart’s romance has fizzled out. Their schedules are packed and it’s not been easy to see each other often.

‘It wasn’t working so they went their separate ways. There are no hard feelings.’

However, speculation was rife the couple were an item again after they were spotted together again in February 2019, before they confirmed they’d reunited in March that year.

Previously, Mollie gushed she ‘loves being in love’ because she’s a hopeless romantic and a girly girl at heart.

She told Women’s Health in 2017: ‘I love being in love. I literally love being in love. I’m so romantic. I’m such a girly girl.

‘I don’t want to be in one of those couples where you feel like, “Are we really into each other?”‘

Mollie’s TV and radio career heralded from her noughties stint in pop girlband The Saturdays.
