This is the shocking moment a teenager narrowly escaped death at the hands of machete-wielding attackers by running into kebab shop and locking himself inside.
CCTV footage was recorded outside the fast-food outlet on Edgware Road, London, on Wednesday last week.
The video showed a young man bounding inside the shop before a gang carrying blades attempted to barge in after him.
The teenager was able to stand his ground and the assailants ran off just seconds later.
In the clip, a young man wearing jeans and a black padded jacket sprints into view and knocks into a pedestrian in his haste.
The teenager continues in a panic and hurries to find safety inside the kebab shop before slamming the door shut behind him.
A second figure, wearing all black and with his hood up, runs straight to the shop front and begins pounding on the glass.
He is then joined by another assailant, wearing a motorcycle helmet, who appears to pull a long blade from its sheath.

He bumps into a passer-by as he makes for the door, the footage was taken at around 8pm
Shocked pedestrians look on as the man, wearing a black coat and blue jeans, manages to get inside the restaurant to safety
Seconds later, two men wielding knives arrive and start trying to pull the door open to reach the man inside
The hooded figure briefly runs out of shot before he also returns with a knife in his hand.
The pair of assailants continue to hammer furiously on the door in an attempt to get at the teenager inside.
But just moments later they scarper and both run back toward the road out of shot.
The video was uploaded to Twitter yesterday alongside a caption that read: ‘Would’ve been another death if that shop had been closed.’
