MTV EMAs: Madison Beer dons a series of incredible outfits as she performs and presents an award

The MTV’s annual Europe Music Awards kicked off on Sunday evening, and one artist who was making the most of the occasion was US singing prodigy Madison Beer. 

The 21-year-old wowed in three different outfits, to arrive, present an award and perform in. 

Madison donned a chocolate brown satin dress for the ceremony’s red carpet, which she matched with a pair of knee-length brown boots.

The Good In Goodbye artist wore her raven tresses in loose and straight, and a slick of gloss and blusher accentuated her striking good looks. 

Later in the ceremony, as she presented the award for best song, Madison looked sensational in in a white dress that showed off her curves.

The dress featured sheer skirt and revealing cutaway details all across the upper body that showed off Madison’s gym-honed physique.

Justin Bieber’s protégé then changed outfit once again in order to perform her hit single Baby to viewers all across the world during the virtual ceremony. 

Madison wore a figure-hugging black frock which she matched with a striking full-length black leather coat that flayed about on stage as she danced around. 

For footwear, Madison opted for a pair of knee-length black boots, and she accessorised with a giant string of pearls that was looped around her neck.

Madison tied her hair back in a tight bun, and she was joined on stage by several face mask-wearing dancers.     

Madison initially rose to fame in 2012 when Justin Bieber shared a song she covered on YouTube when she was just 13. 

The massive attention helped her land a recording contract with Island Records and led to the release of her debut EP As She Pleases in early 2018.

More recently, she’s set to release her debut full-length album Life Support this year, though a release date hasn’t been announced yet.

She has dropped four singles ahead of the album’s release since January, including the songs Good In Goodbye, Selfish, Stained Glass and Baby.

This year’s EMAs ceremony was hosted by Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

Perrie, 27, Jade, 27, and Leigh-Anne, 29, will also perform their latest single Sweet Melody from their new album Confetti during the socially-distanced event, filmed in different locations around the world. 

Jesy Nelson was meant to co-host the show with her bandmates but was forced to pull out due to illness.

The singer was also absent from the final of the group’s talent show Little Mix: The Search which aired on Saturday.  

A statement released to MailOnline on Saturday read: ‘Jesy is unwell and will not be appearing on tonight’s final of Little Mix The Search. She will also not be hosting or performing at tomorrow’s MTV EMA’s.’

Lady Gaga received the most nominations this year with seven nods, including Best Artist, Best Pop, and Best Video for her duet with Ariana Grande, Rain On Me, which also secured a position in the Best Song and Best Collaboration categories.

Meanwhile, Justin Bieber, 26, and pop group BTS followed behind Gaga with five nominations a piece.

Justin was nominated for Biggest Fans, Best Artist, Best Collaboration, Best New and Best Pop. 

BTS received nominations in the Best Artist, Biggest Fans, Best Pop, Best Group and Best Virtual Live  categories.

Other nominees included Little Mix, Katy Perry, Drake and Nicki Minaj for her WAP video with Megan Thee Stallion.

The nominations include three new categories: Best Latin, Video for Good and Best Virtual Live. 

The MTV EMAs comes just a few days after both Gaga and Bieber secured nominations in the E! People’s Choice Award.
