Nadia Bartel is making the most of self-isolation as the coronarvirus pandemic forces Australians indoors. 

The former WAG busied herself by enjoying a rather large glass of red wine and ‘playing with makeup’ as she passed the time at home on Monday. 

The 34-year-old shared an Instagram Story post in which she holds up the glass and smiles at the camera.

Nadia, who is dressed in a black jumper and has on a full face of makeup in the picture, captioned her post: ‘Iso ain’t so bad!’ 

‘Iso’ is a slang term that is short for the word ‘isolation’ that has lately become popular online.

On Sunday, the fashion designer revealed how she is explaining the coronavirus pandemic to her young children.

The mother-of-two was asked during an Instagram Q&A on Sunday how she was talking to her eldest son, Aston, about the virus.

‘He hasn’t asked too many questions and if he does I answer them honestly but calmly. I don’t want to feel anxious as I know he will feel that,’ she said.

Nadia has told Aston about the simple measures he can take to stay healthy. 

‘I have said it’s important that we wash our hands for 30 seconds now and not touch our face or nose as a lot of people have been sick,’ she said. 

Nadia and her estranged husband, retired AFL star Jimmy Bartel, share two children: Aston, four, and Henley, one.    

As of Monday evening, there have been 1,716 recorded cases of coronavirus in Australia with seven deaths as a result.
