Newly single Angie Kent hits a nightclub with friends after confirming split from Carlin Sterritt

She confirmed her split from Carlin Sterritt last month, after weeks of speculation.

But Angie Kent showed no sign of heartbreak when she visited a nightclub with her friends on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast last weekend.

The former Bachelorette, 30, appeared to be in high spirits as she enjoyed a night out with Married At First Sight’s Heidi Latcham and two other pals.

The newly-single reality star smiled as she enjoyed a lively night out with friends at The Drunken Dumpling bar.

Angie looked stylish for the occasion in blue jeans, a pink jumper and black vest, as well as light pink boots.

She completed her look with a black handbag, and styled her blonde hair straight.

Angie’s outing comes a month after she confirmed her split from Carlin, whom she met on last year’s season of The Bachelorette.  

‘We have not wanted to confirm until this point because there have been much bigger issues going on in the world and we’ve both been taking space to think about what we really want,’ Angie told her Instagram followers on July 1.

She added: ‘Matters of the heart are extremely difficult and I’m sad to say that Carlin and I have broken up.’ 

Angie admitted there had been ‘a lot of speculation and rumours about the status of my relationship with Carlin’, and apologised to the fans who were invested in their romance. 

‘I appreciate everyone’s concern and the investment that many of you made into the show and our story, but this is real life and we both need privacy and time to heal,’ she added.

‘I just want to put the rumours to bed and to clarify so that questions stop.

‘Please remember we are both human beings like everyone else, so be kind if you do choose to leave comments or messages. Words can be very hurtful – and compound already very difficult times.’
