Their relationship is as volatile as his behaviour on the tennis court.

But Nick Kyrgios and his on and off girlfriend Chiara Passari appear to be in a good place in their rollercoaster romance.

On Tuesday, Chiara shared several loved-up photos of the pair on her Instagram page to celebrate the World No.55’s 26th birthday.

In one of the pictures, the brunette beauty cuddles the tennis bad boy from behind and cups his face with her hand.

She wrote in the caption: Happy Birthday My Baby’.

Chiara then posted a picture of the pair celebrating his big day with a romantic dinner. She kissed him on the  cheek as they enjoyed their meal.

Earlier this month, Nick and Chiara climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Nick took to Instagram to gush over his girlfriend and share photos of the romantic walk.

The loved-up pair posed at the summit of the climb, cuddling up to each other while Nick made the peace sign.

He then wrote a tongue-in-cheek question, asking his followers to choose ‘who has the swaggy bridge photo?’

The couple started dating in July 2020 after the tennis star returned to his hometown Canberra because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

In February, fans speculated the couple had ended their relationship after Daily Mail Australia exclusively revealed a nasty exchange of messages between the pair.

The screenshot of one text message exchange between Chiara and Nick showed an emotionally charged argument.

While the context of messages sent before the screenshot was taken is unclear, the tone of those that followed – particularly from the tennis bad boy – portrayed a relationship clearly on the rocks.

Chiara responded to Daily Mail Australia’s request for comment with a series of claims about Kyrgios that cannot be published.

Her Instagram story showing their text message exchange came just a day after she shared another cryptic post about her and Kyrgios embattled relationship.

That post included a photo of Chiara, sitting in Nick’s player’s box during a match and laughing.

‘Laughing at myself for believing…’ she wrote on the image.

The couple at one point wiped photos of each other from their social media pages, with Nick replacing his Twitter profile photo – once a shot of them together – with one of him in action on court.

The catalyst for doubts about the couple’s relationship came when Chiara put up a cryptic post on her Instagram in the lead up to the Australian Open.

‘Cheaters always want you to be loyal while they’re being unfaithful,’ she wrote.

While that post from early February sparked rumours of a split, Nick was quick to pour cold water on any such speculation.

After wins in the first and second round of the Grand Slam, the flamboyant Kyrgios wrote messages of love to Chiara on the lens of a courtside television camera.

‘Miss u Chizzel,’ the tennis star wrote.
