Nikki Bella reveals she’s already 23 weeks along on her pregnancy journey

Nikki Bella looked ecstatic as she showed off her burgeoning baby bump in a pregnancy update posted Thursday to Instagram.

The 36-year-old wrestler revealed she was 23 weeks along, putting her toward the end of her second trimester.

She was joined in the joyous photo by her fiancé Artem Chigvintsev, 37.

Getting big: Nikki Bella, 36, revealed she’s 23 weeks into her pregnancy in an Instagram photo posted Thursday featuring her fiancé Artem Chigvintsev, 37

Nikki was dressed in a simple black tank top in the photo, and her face was obscured behind Artem’s as she arched her neck back.

The Dancing With The Stars professional placed his hands around her tummy and grinned at the camera as she placed her hands over his.

She wrote: ’23 weeks today! We are definitely on cloud 9 knowing we are getting closer and closer to meeting our baby. ❤️,’ she wrote, while also tagging her fiancé.

The reality star shared another photo with a more prominent view of her face to her Insta Stories.

Artem again placed his hand on their future child while she glanced seductively at the camera.

Though Nikki has been practicing social distancing at home with her love and her twin sister Brie Bella, she still managed to get out for some much-needed exercise.

The WWE Hall of Fame member posted a stunning photo of herself and Artem kissing on a boulder in front of a rippling cliff.

‘He had me on 3 different hikes today! Lol my feet are so swollen but was so worth it!’ she gushed. ‘The fresh air and scenery I needed. God is beautiful. Mother nature is so beautiful.’

Though they were out and about, it didn’t seem too difficult for the couple to stay at least six feet away from others while out in nature.

Despite the beauty of her fitness outing, Nikki was still feeling down in the dumps after her baby shower plans were dashed by new social distancing measures to combat the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The WWE star admitted that as an expecting first time mom she was ‘really bummed’ about not getting to celebrate the usual pre-baby milestones.

Pointing out the irony of it all during a chat with People, the twin said: ‘I imagined getting pregnant forever and I had to cancel my baby shower.’

‘Anything fun that you do that you get so excited for your first time pregnant, I had to cancel, and that really bummed me out,’ she said about her pregnancy journey with Chigvintsev.

She’s even been disappointed about having to skip mundane baby things like shopping or parenting classes, saying: ‘Just going to classes with Artem, and now we’re going to do everything online, or even going out and shopping for a baby and grabbing lunch. Just everything we do is from the computer.’

Still, Nikki was optimistic things about things changing.

‘Hopefully maybe I do get [a baby shower] right before [I give birth], but it’s been hard not getting all those first things,’ said the star, who is expecting to give birth this summer.

Luckily, Bella and the baby are both in great health.

Nikki and sister Brie are both expecting, with two dates set to be just two-weeks apart.

And Brie, who is already mom to two-and-a-half-year-old Birdie, said that motherhood helped prepare her for self-isolating, telling People: ‘When the baby comes, you kind of go on quarantine anyway for two months, it feels like.

‘It kind of feels like when you first have a baby, and then all of a sudden our babies are going to come [in] July when people probably end up being able to be out in about July, August, and we’re going to be back in quarantine.’

But Brie was also sad that her sister wouldn’t be getting the full pregnancy experience, telling the magazine: ‘We had a lot of plans. Doing a babymoon together, just a bunch of fun things, and it was sad to cancel everything because it was just like, “Wow, this year felt really special.”

‘Then we got inducted into the [WWE] Hall of Fame and just all these different things, and to see it all in our book and all of it just go away, we’re like, “Whoa.” It’s a little weird, but we’re rolling with it.’
