Nina Dobrev CONFIRMS romantic relationship with Shaun White and gives snowboarder quarantine haircut

Nina Dobrev made her budding romance with Olympic snowboarder Shaun White, 33, Instagram official on Thursday evening. 

In the post seen by her nearly 20million followers, the 31-year-old Vampire Diaries star posed for a selfie with her new beau after giving him a quarantine haircut.

‘Adding to resume: hairdresser,’ captioned Dobrev, who also shared a brief video of herself and White ogling at the aftermath.   

For the photo, Nina rocked a makeup-free face and had her brunette hair tied back into a bun as she flashed a pair of shears at the camera.

Shaun – who was responsible for capturing the shot – sported a horrified facial expression as he sat in a chair.

Shaun made a relationship confirmation post on his own Instagram that provided fans with even more insight into Nina’s haircutting process.

‘My hairstylist said he wouldn’t, so she did #QuarantineCuts,’ captioned the three-time Olympic Gold medalist.  

He included a ‘before’ photo of his overgrown hair, a time-lapse video of Nina working her magic with a pair of scissors, and an impressive ‘after’ photo.

Nina and Shaun recently escaped the confines of Los Angeles to enjoy a road trip to Utah. 

Prior to Thursday’s selfie, the pair had yet to share any photos together during or before their impromptu trip.

Fans began assuming that Nina and Shaun were on the trip together due to how their social media posts seemed to be syncing up. 

They also happened to tag the exact same photographer, Cole Ferguson, in one of their more recent posts. 

Rumors regarding the pair’s relationship officially began in March when the pair were spotted enjoying a bike ride in Malibu.

In April, Shaun was photographed leaving Nina’s Los Angeles residence on multiple occasions amid the city’s ‘Safer At Home’ mandate. 

A source recently told HollywoodLife: ‘Nina and Shaun have been spending much more time together lately and this lockdown has brought them closer than ever.

‘They haven’t put any labels on their relationship but they’re not seeing anybody else. They have always had a really special connection.

‘but since they’ve both always had such a busy schedule this downtime has allowed them to tune out the outside world and get to really know each other on a deeper level,’ concluded the source.

Prior to White, the Degrassi actress was linked to screenwriter Grant Mellon, but the former couple split in November of last year after nearly a year together.

Most famously, Nina dated her Vampire Diaries co-star Ian Somerhalder, 41.

The pair dated for a total of three-years before parting ways for good in 2013.

Ian went on to marry Twilight star Nikki Reed, 32, in 2015.
