In a video posted on Instagram, Wippa walks up to the talkback host at the buffet.

‘He’s got me on assignment here to make sure the honeymoon is going okay… sorry Soph to interrupt. How is it going?’

Ray, 66, smirked but had a hilarious reply to Wippa.

‘It was going really f**king good until you turned up,’ he said dryly.

Wippa then teased Ray further, saying they should go and enjoy some island activities together.

‘What’s the plan for today mate, should we go scuba diving, snorkeling or fishing?’ he quipped.

Ray stumped any plans and dryly replied, ‘no.’

The plan to crash the honeymoon was arranged by radio star and journalist Ben Fordham.

Ben told The Daily Telegraph that he couldn’t resist ‘stirring Ray up’ with the help of Wippa.

‘Ray has been known to describe Wippa as a ”pest”, even though deep down, I know he likes him,’ Ben said.

He jokingly added: ‘Ray and Sophie are so lucky to have Wippa sharing this special week with them. When Ray needs sunscreen rubbed in, I wonder if he turns to Sophie or Wippa?’

Wippa and his Nova radio co-star Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald have long pranked Ray.

Fitzy called up to Ray’s show and said he had a surprise for him, a special rendition of Ginuwine’s hit single, Pony, performed by the boy band. Ray eventually got involved and began dancing to the tune.
