It was all change on Sunday evening as Olga Kurylenko opted to cut her own hair, weeks after recovering from the novel coronavirus COVID-19.

With all hair salons closed for the foreseeable future, the former Bond girl took matters into her own hands by trimming her own fringe while remaining in lockdown.

Taking to Instagram, London based Olga, 40, shared before, during and after shots with her 658,000 followers after resorting to the DIY haircut ahead of a sixth week behind closed doors.

Captioning the images, she wrote: ‘Suddenly had an urge to change something so I cut my own fringe, but since my hair is wavy, you can see what my fringe looks like in the morning on the last picture #thelockdowneffect.’

The new look proved to be a hit among fans, with one commenting: ‘Always beautiful. There is no change in that.’

While a second wrote: ‘Absolutely beautiful. Love your gorgeous smile.’

Evidently in agreement, a third added: ‘That’s the best lockdown hair cut iv seen so far well done.’ [sic]

The new post comes just one month after Olga revealed she is was in recovery after testing positive for the coronavirus COVID-19. 

Addressing Instagram followers in March, the French actress revealed her fever had gone,’ 24-hours after she was refused a hospital bed with a temperature of 102F (38.9C).

Posting a picture of herself wearing a green medical mask, she wrote: ‘Hello everyone! I’m feeling better today. My fever is gone! I hear people can’t figure out where I currently am. I’m in London!

‘How do I know it’s coronavirus and not just a flu? I did a test for coronavirus which came back positive. What are the medicines that doctors prescribed as treatment? NONE! 

‘I was told to take paracetamol in case my fever was too high and if I was in too much pain. However, I do take vitamins and supplements.’

Olga went on to reveal that she was taking pantothenic acid (B5), vitamin E, vitamin C, curcumin (turmeric) and zinc to help her immune system, although she stressed: ‘Please note that these vitamins do NOT cure coronavirus.’

The previous day Olga revealed that she was refused a hospital bed because the wards are ‘full’ of patients ‘struggling with life’. 

The Quantum of Solace star said she was struggling with a 102F fever shortly after testing positive for the virus.
