Parking on double yellow line for UK motorists is prohibited unless they have a disabled parking permit.
The Highway Code states: ‘Double yellow lines indicate a prohibition of waiting at any time even if there are no upright signs.’

It comes after an ever-outspoken Olivia didn’t hold back in taking a cheeky swipe at reality stars who have taken ‘work’ trips to Dubai in a hilarious Instagram post last week.
She was asked whether she had any plans to travel to the UAE over the festive period, and in a cutting response said she’d rather ‘stick pins in her eyes.’
During a Q and A with fans, Olivia was asked why she wasn’t spending Christmas in Dubai like ‘everyone else’.

She wrote: ‘Well… I love Dubai… love love love it, hence why we got engaged there.
‘But… it feels like the whole of the UK is there right now and I’d quite frankly rather stick pins in my eyes. Am missing my girls though xx.’
