Andra Day brushed off missing out on the Best Actress award at this year’s Oscars on Sunday night as she partied with a slew of stars at Spring Place’s bash following the show.
The actress, 36, who was nominated for her role as the iconic singer Billie Holiday in the biographical film The United States vs. Billie Holiday, let her hair down at the afterparty in Beverly Hills.
Andra was joined by a very glamorous Winnie Harlow, 26, who showcased her incredible figure in a dramatic strapless silk blue gown with ruffle detailing.

The actress, who lost Best Actress to Nomadland’s Frances McDormand, proved she wasn’t a sore loser as she partied the night away.
Andra put on an animated display as she hugged Evan Ross and Tyler James Williams, before posing up a storm for a set of glamorous photos with Winnie.

The actress dressed up for the night celebrating the best of film. Andra put on a daring display as she flashed her derriere in a Vera Want Haute gold dress which featured sheer side panels and a racy thigh-high split.
She teamed the look with Tiffany and Co. jewels. Fashion designer Vera Wang worked with a welder on this dress because it is completely made of metal, according to reports.
Magnus Resch joined Andra at the bash and presented the Hollywood starlet with an extravagant cake.

During the ceremony, Andra managed to get censored after offering a passionate answer to a mid-Oscars guessing game.
But even though ABC cut off her audio, eagled-eyes fans were able to read the United States Vs. Billie Holiday star’s lips.
After Lil Rel Howery asked her if the Prince track Purple Rain won an Oscar or was snubbed, she appeared to say: ‘It’s a brilliant song. It probably wasn’t even nominated and that’s some bulls**t.’

Purple Rain wasn’t nominated for Best Original Song in 1985.
That year, Stevie Wonder’s I Just Called To Say I Love You from the film The Woman In Red earned the honor, beating other 80s classics like Phil Collins’ Against All Odds, Let’s Here It For The Boy by Pitchford & Tom Snow, as well as the Footloose and Ghostbusters themes.
But while the ballad itself wasn’t nominated, that year Prince took home the award for Best Original Song Score, an award reserved for film musicals.

Though Andra was a category front runner for Best Actress at this year’s ceremony, the award went to Frances McDormand for Nomadland.
The film ended up earning some of the top gongs, taking home Best Picture and Best Director for filmmaker Chloe Zhao, making her the first woman of color to win the category.
The United States Vs. Billie Holiday was Andra’s first major foray into film. And while her performance was highly-acclaimed, she found herself insecure about acting all together.
‘I truly was definitely out of my depth the entire time,’ Day told People ahead of the Oscars.
‘I would have the thought, in my mind, that maybe they’re just settling because they realized they can’t get any better from me. Or that’s the best they’re going to get, and I’m already here.’
‘So there was always that underlying thought that they’re just accommodating me right now.’
