Paul Danan boasts of seducing Hollyoaks actresses EVERY DAY

‘I was called the extras w***e!’ Paul Danan boasts of seducing Hollyoaks actresses EVERY DAY… and claims he was branded an ‘animal’ for his ladies’ man status during soap heyday

Paul Danan claims he was known as the ‘extras whore’ of the Hollyoaks set due to sleeping with so many supporting cast members on his lunch break.

The actor and reality star, 41, who played Sol Patrick on the Channel 4 soap between 1997 and 2001, boasted of inviting extras sent to the set from modelling agencies back to his house for lunch ‘almost every day.’

During an appearance on the How to be a Grown-up podcast, Paul candidly claimed that as the aspiring actors were so familiar with his character and his celebrtity status, he always stood a good chance of seduction.

Ooh err! Paul Danan claims he was known as the ‘extras whore’ of the Hollyoaks set due to sleeping with so many supporting cast members on his lunch break

He told hosts Joe Forrester and Louise Gooke: ‘I was known as the “extras whore” because the extras used to be from a modelling agency and every day when I’ve been filming they’ve been in the background and I’d be like “guys, I really love her”…

‘I’d just be like “how are you doing, do you want to come back to mine for lunch?”

‘And just every day there was just a new lot of models and it just got crazy. People would say “Paul, you’re an animal this is just mental.” I was young, I was having fun, and why not?’

Paul, who was a contestant on the first series of ITV’s Love Island in 2005, also recalled the time Simon Webbe pleaded with him to listen to a tape of his music when he appeared on the soap before Webbe’s rise to fame with boyband Blue.

He admitted dismissing the singer at the time, then kicking himself a few months later after hearing the band’s smash hit single All Rise at the top of the charts.

‘Simon from Blue was an extra on Hollyoaks and he played me a tape one lunchtime and I was like Sol and he was just an extra from a modelling agency and he was like “yeah, I’m going to be in a band man – do you want to hear my tape?”, Danan said.

‘I was like “yeah, alright whatever.” And then a few months later he was number one with All Rise. I was like oh my god this guy wasn’t talking sh*t he was real.’

The star told Dapper Laughs on his Chatting B******s podcast that he and Kelly became an item when they were at drama school together.

‘I went to Italia Conti, and Kelly Brook was there. So I went out with her for about six months, probably longer,’ he recounted. ‘I used to bring her back to my house after college.

‘She met my grandpa. She was amazing. My grandad walked in on us once. The bra was out!’
