Peter Andre’s wife Emily has revealed she barely spends time with their two children as she fights coronavirus on the frontline.
The junior medic, 30, has been treating COVID-19 patients at a Surrey hospital and the long shifts mean she has had to sacrifice time with Amelia, six, and Theo, three.
Emily told OK! Magazine she leaves the house before the children get up at 7.30am and returns from her gruelling 12-hour shift when they are nearly ready for bed.

Emily wrote in her column: ‘Pete said he thinks I would be shocked if I came home early from work and saw the state of the house, the difference between our two approaches is that I tend to clean little and often so I can keep on top of it, whereas Pete lets it get to a terrible state and then goes for it.
‘All I seem to do is clean with all the kids in the house, sometimes I don’t know if it’s harder being at work or at home.
‘I have had to let my standards slip but I find cleaning therapeutic and the kids have been helping, they even helped cook a chicken stir-fry for us the other night and we baked some amazing biscuits.’

Emily went on to say she would be happy for Millie to go back to school if they opened in June, but said she doesn’t mind if she goes back in September as Pete is doing a good job at homeschooling.
Pete’s other children Junior, 14, and 12-year-old Princess are back at mum Katie Price’s house following the past six weeks spent with Peter and Emily.
On Friday, He remembered his late brother Andrew eight years after tragically losing him to kidney cancer.

The singer shared a post to his Instagram on what would have been his brother’s 62nd birthday.
He shared: ‘Happy Birthday to my brother RIP. Thinking of you every day until we meet again.’
The family suffered the devastating loss of Andrew back in 2012 following a brief battle with kidney cancer.
