‘We’re very lucky to have you’: Peter Stefanovic pays tribute to his wife Sylvia Jeffreys as she celebrates her first birthday since becoming a mother
Peter Stefanovic has shared a sweet tribute to his wife, Sylvia Jeffreys, who celebrated her 34th birthday on Thursday.
The Sky News breakfast anchor, 38, uploaded a photo to Instagram of Sylvia, 34, cuddling their two-month-old son, Oscar.
‘Happy Birthday, Mumma Sylvie!’ he wrote in the caption. ‘Oscar and I are very lucky to have you. We love you!’

It comes after the Channel Nine journalist shared a similar tribute to her husband earlier this month on their wedding anniversary.
‘Three years since we laughed our way through our vows and two months since our handsome baby boy arrived,’ Sylvia wrote on Instagram.
‘Happy anniversary – this sure will be one to remember,’ she added.

The couple met while co-hosting Weekend Today, and Sylvia has previously said it was a case of ‘love at first sight’.
She told The Sydney Morning Herald she was instantly drawn to Pete when they ‘bumped into each other’ in the car park before their first day working together.
They tied the knot at Ooralba Estate in Kangaroo Valley on April 1, 2017.

The couple announced the arrival of their first child, son Oscar, on February 6.
The glamorous newsreader shared a photo of their newborn baby in a blue onesie while announcing the news on Instagram.
‘Our beautiful boy, Oscar Hamilton Stefanovic, 3.4kg, deep blue eyes and perfectly healthy. He’s absolute magic,’ she wrote.
