Phillip Schofield and his family wear matching grey ‘Isolation Generation’ pyjamas in cute snap

He has been sharing his family’s antics during lockdown on Instagram.

And Phillip Schofield delighted his followers on Sunday as he shared snaps of his family wearing matching pyjamas.

The TV presenter, 58, was surrounded by daughters Molly and Ruby, wife Stephanie, and Ruby’s boyfriend Will Proctor for the family photo.

The five of them were all smiles as they posed in matching grey t-shirts which read ‘isolation generation 2020’.

The This Morning host then uploaded a second snap of him looking cheery as he wore the topical shirt.

Ruby also showed off her grey isolation uniform in a mirror selfie shared on her own Instagram page.

It comes after the Schofield family enjoyed a murder mystery party over Zoom with Phillip’s co-host Holly Willoughby and her husband Dan Baldwin on Friday.

The TV presenter’s daughter Molly, 27, shared a glimpse of their virtual party at home, which saw the family and their loved ones take on personas with their own place mats around the dining table.

Molly shared a snap of the dining room which had been prepared for eight people to take part in the game, three of whom had to call in on the video chat on the laptop that had been set up on one side.

As well as Holly and her husband Dan, Molly’s beau Will was also calling in to take part in the murder mystery party.

Molly took on the role of Fizzy Cruickshank, and she shared a snap of her place on the table which had its own name card, piece of evidence, and roleplay sheet to help her fully embody the character.

This is not the first time that Phil has enjoyed an event such as this with his family, as he shared snaps earlier this month from their game night.

Phillip posted some pictures of his family – wife Stephanie and daughters Ruby, 24, and Molly – enjoying a murder mystery evening together.

In the snaps, the family were all dressed up as characters for a murder mystery game night – seemingly the first time they have been together during lockdown.

He captioned the photo with: ‘Murder mystery night… we’re all in character and taking it very seriously.’

After seeing the photograph on his Instagram page, one follower commented: ‘So you moved out but you’re allowed to visit your family?

‘But I can’t go and visit my children and grandchildren. Just the rich or famous that are allowed, good to know. [angry face emoji].’

In response, Phillip quizzed his critic on where they had heard that he had moved out of his family home, suggesting that he was still living there.

Phillip was reported to have amicably moved out of the £2million family home in Oxford after publicly coming out earlier this year.

In February, when Phillip discussed his decision to come out, he insisted: ‘We’ll always be a family’ and it’s clear they remain close.

He also insisted he still loves Steph as much  as he did when they met ‘if not more’.

Staff at the TV studios have been made aware of the star’s change of address, including the drivers who ferry him to and from the studio.

A source said: ‘There has been talk for weeks that Phillip isn’t living with Steph any more, that he had moved out for good and had a new home. He has a place in central London.

‘It’s not as big but it’s the beginning of a new life for him. It very much also seems as though their marriage could well be over.’

Phillip surprised fans on February 7 by issuing a statement on social media declaring that after 27 years of marriage, he was ‘coming to terms with the fact that I am gay’.

In a choreographed follow-up, he took his place on the This Morning sofa besides co-host Holly Willoughby to further pour his heart out.

Writing on Instagram about his decision to come out, he said: ‘With the strength and support of my wife and daughters, I have been coming to terms with the fact that I am gay.

‘My inner conflict contrasts with an outside world that has changed so very much for the better. Today, quite rightly, being gay is a reason to celebrate and be proud.’

He later admitted in a newspaper interview that it was too early to say if he and Steph would stay married.

‘It has taken me a long time to get here, I am not rushing to get to any other place,’ he said. ‘We will always be a family… And where the wind blows us I don’t know. But I still love Steph as much as when we first met. More probably.’
