PICTURE EXCLUSIVE: David and Victoria Beckham FINALLY jet off on a post-lockdown trip with the kids

The Beckhams have finally regained a semblance of their usual jet-set lifestyle by flying off to Puglia in Italy.

The family touched down in the Med last week and headed off to a private farmhouse on the coast, having been cooped up at their Cotswolds bolthole for the duration of the UK’s lockdown.

David and Victoria were seen enjoying an array of activities on the first few days of their family getaway, with their children Romeo, Cruz, Harper and Brooklyn, as well as Brooklyn’s new fiancee Nicola Peltz.

Having arrived in Italy on Monday, the group have been enjoying what the Southern-Italian region has to offer – known for its striking whitewashed hill towns, centuries-old farmland and miles of Mediterranean coastline.

David, 45, and Victoria, 46, were seen stepping out in swimwear for a day by the pool, brandishing beach towels.

Victoria shielded her face from the sunshine in a black baseball cap and carried her phone, an i-Pad and headphones with her to keep herself busy.

They were joined by their family – Brooklyn, 21, future daughter-in-law Nicola, 26, Romeo, 17, Cruz, 15, and Harper, nine.

The family have been staying in a farmhouse villa in Borgo Egnazia – a favourite spot for the rich and famous.

The castle-like, candle-lit village features a Michelin-starred restaurant, a championship golf course, two beach clubs with private beaches – one sandy, one pebbly – and a spa that bases its treatments on ancient Puglian rituals.

The Beckhams moved around the village using two golf buggies but were also seen heading to the beach on bicycles.

On Wednesday evening the entire brood dined together at La Frasca, a restaurant in Borgo Egnazia and on Thursday evening they participated in the Puglia in the square event – an evening party held in the central square of Borgo Egnazia.

At this, the family sampled the Apulian specialties, such as mozzarella, focaccia, and smoked meats, as they enjoyed a band who serenaded them with traditional Italian songs.

On Friday morning the healthy clan hit the gym before enjoying a private lunch at the the villa.

They then hit the beach for the afternoon before the boys took part in an impromptu game of football.

David played barefoot in a team with his three sons against other guests of the farm.

This is not only the famous family’s first jaunt abroad for months, it’s somewhat of a celebration following the announcement that Brooklyn and Nicola are now engaged.

He had been living with her in America during the pandemic, and they returned to the UK last month newly-betrothed.
