‘Back in the game!’ Piers Morgan works up a sweat in the gym and vows his personal trainer will ‘never break him’ as he gets fit again

Piers Morgan was busy working up a sweat in the gym on Friday as he vowed to get fit again.

The TV presenter and journalist, 55, took to Instagram to share a snap as he lifted weights alongside his personal trainer at Roar Fitness.

And Piers was confident that his PT Sarah Lindsay will never ‘break’ him as she pushed him to the limit.

He looked confident and ready to work out in a blue polo shirt and jogging bottoms as he held two huge silver weights in both his hands.

However it looks like he might be in for a tough ride as Sarah looked ready to order him around and pointed at him bossily in the funny picture.

Piers captioned his snap: ‘Back in the game. ps You’ll never break me @roarfitnessgirl’.

Speaking about his new diet in September, Piers – who is married to journalist Celia Walden – said: ‘I’m going to see a new personal trainer, and unfortunately Celia’s taken it all quite seriously.

‘So suddenly it’s all the good stuff’s gone and all the kale’s come in and the quinoa and vegetables. A lot of vegetables. A lot of salmon.

‘A lot less Bordeaux – I’m down to one glass a night. And, well, during the summer, a lot of cheese went down my gullet, and and it could stretch to a bottle of red. Quite comfortably … Depending on the quality, and maybe a little more.’

Piers jetted off on his annual holiday to France this summer where he regularly shared pictures enjoying lavish lunches and the odd glass of wine.

The gym session comes after of Piers’ return to Good Morning Britain this week following his and co-host Susanna Reid’s half-term break.

He has spent much of his time off promoting his new book Wake Up.
