Piers Morgan’s wife Celia Walden reveals she has lost her wedding ring

Piers Morgan’s wife Celia Walden has lost her wedding ring but hasn’t told her husband yet about the missing piece of jewellery.

The journalist, 45, made the revelation after a fan questioned why she wasn’t wearing the gold band in a new snap uploaded to her Instagram earlier this week.

In the picture Celia is eating a hot dog on Brighton Pier and has her wedding ring-free hand on full display.   

A fan then quizzed Celia on Instagram commenting: ‘Wedding ring? Hot dog looks ace.’

She replied: ‘I can’t actually find it. But don’t tell him. Good spot.’

She captioned the hot dog snap with the comment: ‘When Mr Sizzles on Brighton Pier asks if ‘you want the normal or the XXL?’ there’s only ever going to be one answer.’

Piers then cheekily replied saying: ‘Why go for an XXL Pier Mr Sizzles when you’ve got an XXXL Piers Mr Sizzles at home??!’ 

It comes before the couple are set to celebrate their 11th wedding anniversary on June 24. 

Last month Celia cosied up to a personalised cushion of her husband Piers’ face as he celebrated his 56th birthday.

The author said the amusing item was her ‘favourite pillow,’ as she uploaded the snap to social media. 

She said in the accompanying Instagram caption: ‘Nice little spot of sunbathing with my favourite pillow’. 

Celia has stood by Piers’ side – who she tied the knot with in 2010 – following his dramatic exit from Good Morning Britain last month.

It was in relation to his comments about Meghan Markle and her explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey. 

Piers and Celia have one child together, their daughter, nine-year-old Elise, who they welcomed in 2011. 

Piers also has three children from his previous marriage, Spencer, 27, Stanley, 23, and Albert, 20.
