Pink celebrates 15 years of marriage with husband Carey Hart: ‘What a wild ride it’s been’

Pink celebrated a major anniversary with her husband Carey Hart as they marked 15 years of marriage.

The 41-year-old singer–songwriter shared a loving tribute to their relationship Thursday on Instagram with a bevy of recent and vintage photos of the couple.

She captioned her post: ’15 years. Proud of us babe.’

The Lady Marmalade singer went on to acknowledge the couple’s ups and downs.

‘See, sometimes being stubborn pays off. What a wild ride it’s been, once we learned how to stay in our race line. Here’s to at least the next 15 months hahahAh. I love you and I love our family ❤️❤️,’ she wrote.

Pink included a photo from the couple’s early days showing the singer in a denim off-the-shoulder top and bright-red wraparound sunglasses.

Carey, 45, had on a black T-shirt and ski-cap and sported a soul patch.

Carey’s own anniversary post arrived a few hours later and showed his wife dancing on a boat with a red plastic cup in her hand.

’15 years w/ this amazing woman! Damn, baby!!!!! There is no other woman that I would want to go through this crazy world with than you. Thanks for being a great friend, wife, mother, and person. Throw your [middle finger emoji] in the air,’ he wrote as she flipped the bird at the camera.

Although they’ve been married for 15 years and in a relationship for almost 20, Pink and Carey have had their share of bumps along the road.

The two first met at the 2001 Summer X Games in Philadelphia and began dating shortly afterward, but they had a short split in 2003.

The couple reconciled later that year, and in 2005 the Get The Party Started singer held a sign aloft asking for his hand in marriage while he competed in a motocross race in Mammoth Lakes, California.

The two had a tropical wedding in Costa Rica in 2006.

The marriage didn’t appear to be long for this world, though, and Pink (real name: Alecia Beth Moore) and Carey separated in 2008.

The split was referenced on multiple tracks from her album Funhouse, released the same year, but the couple stayed amicable and attended marriage counseling in hopes of resuscitating the relationship.

In September, Pink opened up about how marriage counseling had been essential to saving their relationship.

‘Marriage is awful, wonderful, comfort and rage,’ she captioned a photo of her hugging Carey. ‘It is boring, terrifying, and a total nail biter. It is loving another fallible creature while trying to love yourself. It is a lifetime of coming back to the table,’ she began.

‘Therapy isn’t for weak people or hippies or liberals. It’s for broken people that want to be whole. It’s for runaways that want a family. It’s a lesson on how to sit down and listen. How to love yourself so that the other person can, too. I love you babe. I’m grateful we made it to this photo,’ she concluded.

They reconciled in 2010, and the couple have seemingly been going strong ever since.

In 2011, they welcomed their daughter Willow, and their son Jameson followed in 2016.
