The students then appeared to be lined up on a park near the school as officers swooped on the site.

Hackney Police said: ‘At 11:55hrs on Thursday, 10 December, police were contacted by staff at a school in Clissold Road, Stoke Newington #Hackney.

‘The school had received a bomb threat. The school was evacuated and officers are in attendance. Cordon are in place whilst police investigate.’

Parents took to social media to express concerns about their children.

Another added: ‘My son said they’re all safe in park but none of the teachers know what’s going on.’
