A couple found dead in a suspected murder-suicide have today been identified.
Pictured are Kerry Bradford, 57, and her husband Nicholas, also 57, who both died in two ‘linked’ incidents in Newport, Wales, on Sunday.
Nicholas is said to have killed his wife before taking his own life, according to locals.
His body was found after he fell from a seven-storey car park in Newport city centre on Sunday.
Police liaison officers are then said to have visited the Bradford’s home in Monnow Way, Bettws, to inform Mrs Bradford of the news.
However when officers did not receive a response from Mrs Bradford they smashed down the front door of the detached property, where the couple have lived since 2006.
When police entered they found the body of Mrs Bedford – who neighbours say worked at a local Tesco store.

Gwent Police say they are treating Mrs Bradford’s (pictured) death as ‘suspicious’
Gwent Police say they are treating Mrs Bradford’s death as ‘suspicious’.
But they refused to name the 57-year-old man who died after falling from the car park.
Instead they said that the two deaths were ‘linked’ and that they are ‘not looking for anyone else in connection with Mrs Bedford’s death’.
Police say they are not treating the death of the 57-year-old man as suspicious.
Files have been passed to the coroner regarding the deaths of both Mr and Mrs Bradford.
A spokesman for Gwent Police said: ‘Officers are continuing to carry out enquiries in the Bettws area of Newport following the death of a woman.
’57-year-old Kerry Bradford was found deceased at an address in Monnow Way at about 6.15pm on Sunday, April 25.
‘The death is being treated as suspicious, specialist officers are continuing to support the family and our thoughts remain with them.
‘At this time we are not looking for anyone else in connection with her death, which is being linked to another death on Sunday afternoon.
‘At around 4.40pm we also had a call reporting that a man had fallen from the Kingsway car park in Newport city centre.
‘The man was confirmed dead at the scene. His death is not being treated as suspicious.

The discovery was made after officers were called to a multi-storey car park in Newport city centre (pictured: Library image of Newport city centre) and found the body of a man, also 57, who had fallen from the seven storey building

Speaking after the tragedy, Councillor Janet Cleverly said: ‘It is devastating news. My thoughts go out to those involved.
‘It has come as a shock to the whole community. It’s just awful news and my thoughts and sympathies are with those left behind.’
