Porsha Williams has been on defense mode since announcing her shocking engagement to Simon Guobadia, the estranged husband of her RHOA co-star Falynn.
The 39-year-old Real Housewives of Atlanta star denied pregnancy rumors and refused ‘shotgun wedding’ claims during an interview on Tuesday night’s Dish Nation with co-host Gary Hayes.
‘I’m not pregnant,’ Williams insisted when Hayes asked about an Instagram photo where she posed in a skin-tight red outfit and her massive diamond engagement ring.

‘Is this what you want, Gary? I’m not pregnant,’ she continued. ‘This is not a shotgun wedding.’
She noted that they were engaged on Thursday before Mother’s Day with a ‘very, very special’ proposal, and was shocked by fans reactions to a photo with Simon and her ex, Dennis McKinley, who she shares two-year-old daughter PilarJhena.
‘Dennis and myself and Simon — my fiancé — were sitting there, and it was such a magical moment of just being grown adults and being mature and wanting to do the best thing,’ she remembered. ‘I was like, “Let’s seal this moment with a picture and we posted it.” And then I woke up and I was like, “What’s happening? Why is everybody going crazy?”‘
Reflecting on her month-long relationship, Williams said, ‘I’ve been waiting for a love like this and God answered my prayers … and I wasn’t going to deny it when it was smacking me dead in my face.’

Porsha denied reports her new fiance gave her the same engagement ring as his ex just hours after the couple confirmed their big news on Instagram.
The reality star took to Twitter to quell any rumors about the similarities in her massive diamond ring from her new beau and what he gave his ex, who reportedly filed for divorce from Porsha’s co-star in January.
One fan noticed the similarities in bling between women and tweeted: ‘That’s the same ring his ex wife has it had,’ while Porsha quickly put the noise to rest as she quoted the tweet and wrote: ‘That’s a lie.’
Falynn Guobadia broke her silence on Porsha’s shocking engagement announcement to her estranged husband shortly after Williams shared the news.
‘I want to thank everyone for reaching out to me and offering their love and support,’ she said in a statement to DailyMail.com ‘At this time, I am focusing on finalizing my divorce and healing. Sending positivity to all of you.’

Simon and Falynn were married for nearly two years before announcing their intent to divorce last month, with Porsha noting the estranged couple actually split earlier this year.
Porsha explained to her 6.3million followers last week: ‘For all of you that need facts, I get the optics but Simon filed for divorce from a previous marriage in January. I had nothing to do with their divorce filing. That’s between the two of them.
‘Falynn and I are not friends, and Simon’s divorce has been settled. Our relationship is a positive, loving step forward in everybody’s lives.’
