Pregnant Fiona Falkiner on struggling to love her changing body

Fiona Falkiner cradles her bare baby bump and admits that learning to love her changing shape has been a ‘roller coaster’ – as she prepares to welcome a boy with fiancée Hayley Willis

She is expecting her first child, a boy, with fiancée Hayley Willis.

And Fiona Falkiner admitted in a candid Instagram post on Sunday that learning to love her changing shape throughout her pregnancy has been a ‘roller coaster’ ride.

The 37-year-old model and former host of The Biggest Loser, accompanied the honest caption with a photo of herself cradling her bare bump in a string bikini.

‘Learning to love my body through this pregnancy has been a roller coaster. Forever panicking that people think I’ve eaten too much Christmas pudding,’ Fiona began.

‘I’ve got this line on my tummy that on other women is dead straight, but mine looks like spaghetti, and don’t even get me started on the pregnancy belt I now wear to keep it all together!’

Despite her roller coaster ride of emotions, Fiona went on to say that she is reminded of the incredible journey she is on, when fiancée Hayley Willis gazes adoringly at her.

‘It’s hard to accept my forever changing body, but every day I wake up and see the way my fiancée looks at me with so much love and adoration,’ she penned online.

‘It’s all I need to remind me that I am doing something incredible, I’m growing a human and I am going to love every second of it.’  

In the accompanying photo, Fiona stood in a pool’s shallow water in a metallic bikini top and briefs, and looked positively glowing as she smiled and cradled her bump. 

Fiona announced her pregnancy in September, sharing a photo to Instagram of Hayley cradling her bump.

‘It’s official, our little family will be gaining a member. Baby Falkiner will be joining us in 2021,’ the TV presenter wrote.

‘We are so excited about this new chapter of being mums together and giving this little bundle all the love in the world! Thank you to everyone who sent us prayers and baby dust. It worked!’ she added. 

In October, the couple revealed they are having a boy at a gender reveal party. 

They announced their engagement in April 2019, after 10 months of dating.
