Pregnant MKR star Zana Pali caresses her baby bump as she relaxes by the pool of her lavish home

Former My Kitchen Rules star Zana Pali is counting down the weeks until she gives birth to her second child, a boy, with husband Gianni Romano.

And on Saturday, the expectant mother, 28, relaxed under the sun by the pool of her lavish Melbourne home while in lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic. 

Dressed in a designer bikini, the makeup-free beauty beamed as she sat in a sun lounge and caressed her baby bump, which is now at 33 weeks.

The lawyer-turned-chef waved to the camera, held by her husband Gianni, and blew a kiss.

She asked her followers in the caption: ‘I was just wondering whether people experienced baby number 2 arriving earlier than 40 weeks?’

Although she’s eager to meet soon-to-be born son, Zana admitted to struggling through pregnancy the second time around from people ‘mum shaming’ her online. 

She told Daily Mail Australia back in February that she had been ‘abused’ for having a small bump.

Defiant to her naysayers, Zana said: ‘I’ve received messages on Instagram from other mothers who have said things such as “your baby cannot possibly be healthy with how small your bump is.”

‘Firstly, a bump size does not determine the size of the baby,’ she said. ‘My baby is currently measuring two days ahead of its size, so he is of course perfectly healthy.

‘I’m just showing differently this pregnancy. Not that I need to justify my weight and size.’

Zana first rose to fame alongside her husband Gianni on My Kitchen Rules in 2016 and were dubbed the ‘legal eagles’.

She quit her family law job in 2017 to work with Melbourne pizza king, Johnny Di Francesco, according to the Herald Sun.

Zana and Gianni welcomed their first son, Leonardo, in 2018.
