Pregnant model Elyse Knowles flaunts her growing baby bump alongside boyfriend Josh Barker… but one awkward detail doesn’t go unnoticed
She is expecting her first child with her boyfriend of seven years, Josh Barker.
And Elyse Knowles shared a ‘bump update’ on Sunday as she posed for a photo with her partner while spending the day at the beach in Byron Bay.
The model and brand ambassador, 28, looked glowing as she threw an arm over Josh’s shoulders and smiled for the camera.
Elyse, who moved to Byron from Melbourne last year, drew attention to her pregnant figure by tying her Rolling Stones singlet above her stomach.
She completed her laid-back look with white bikini bottoms and a green hat, and styled her blonde hair loosely.
Meanwhile, Josh also kept things casual in a white T-shirt and yellow shorts.
She captioned the photo: ‘Enjoying the piece [sic] and quiet while it lasts.’
It didn’t take long for popular Instagram account Celeb Spellcheck – which often documents Elyse’s misspellings – to notice the typo.
Responding to the error, one fan wrote: ‘Reminds me of a wedding I went to where the table names were: love, honesty, PATIENTS and PIECE… I wish I was kidding.’
Others commented, ‘Looks so pieceful’, ‘Taking the piece’, ‘World piece’ and ‘I’m just disappointed it doesn’t say “piece and quite”‘.
The couple, who won season 13 of The Block three years ago, announced in September they were expecting their first child together.
Elyse confirmed the happy news on Instagram, sharing a series of loved-up photos of herself and Josh, 31, in front of Uluru with a love heart drawn on her bare stomach.
‘And then there were 3 #babybarker,’ she captioned the sweet post.
In an interview with The Daily Telegraph earlier this month, Elyse said she was embracing her pregnancy body.
‘As I go through this new journey, I’m feeling very content in my body, which is nice,’ she said, adding, ‘I listen to what my body needs.’
