Reports circulated early on Thursday that Rachel McAdams was pregnant with her second child.
And she was seen for the first time since the news as she stepped out later in the day to visit a friend in Los Angeles.
The 41-year-old actress flashed a bright smile as her plain white T-Shirt clung to her belly.

The Notebook star kept her look simple pairing the top with a black knee length skirt and white sneakers.
She shielded her eyes in dark sunglasses and pulled her hair back into a half-up and half-down style.
Rachel was first spotted with a bump while shopping at the children’s store the Reckless Unicorn in Los Angeles on Wednesday after in a report by Page Six and has been spotted out recently wearing baggy clothing.
The Canadian actress has been with partner Jamie Linden since 2016 and welcomed a son, in 2018.

The fiercely private star has not yet revealed her son’s name and did not publicly confirm her pregnancy, but she has opened up about motherhood.
The Mean Girls star told the The Sunday Times: ‘It’s the greatest thing that’s ever happened to me, hands down. People] say your life is not your own anymore, but I had 39 years of me, I was sick of me, I was so happy to put the focus on some other person.’
Rachel and writer Jamie, 39, were first linked romantically back in April 2016, but have kept their relationship extremely private ever since.
They have yet to make their red carpet debut as a couple and rarely appear out in public together.

The actress had spoken about her wanting children in her future, saying in 2010: ‘Part of me is very attached to the idea of having children,’ adding: ‘It’ll depend on if I find the person I want to do that with.’
Meanwhile, Rachel split with actor Michael Sheen in 2013 after two years together as a couple.
She has previously been linked to Ryan Gosling, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Josh Lucas.
