Nova FM radio host is kicked out of Magic Mike strip show for ‘inappropriate and disrespectful behaviour’

Radio presenter Sarah McGilvray was left mortified over the weekend after being subjected to a cruel prank by her Nova FM co-hosts.

Sarah, who is one third of Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa, was attending the Magic Mike Live strip show in Sydney on Saturday night when a security guard named Chris suddenly accused her of acting ‘inappropriately’ towards the male dancers.

What she didn’t know was that ‘Chris’ was actually an actor hired by her co-hosts Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald and Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli as part of an elaborate prank.

Chris continued: ‘Well we’ve had reports from the staff that the dances are feeling very uncomfortable on the stage we’ve had reports of yourself cat-calling and wolf-whistling. Ma’am, how many drinks if you had?’

Sarah insisted that she’d only had one glass of Champagne, as she planned to drive home after the show.

‘So after one glass of champagne you’re yelling at the dancers are you?’ Chris said.

Clearly catching onto the gag, Sarah cheekily responded: ‘They very good looking men, I couldn’t help myself!’

Clearly pleased that his prank had gone off without a hitch, Wippa teased his co-host: ‘Why are you treating men like a piece of meat! I’m here on behalf of your husband!’
