Legendary NRL commentator Ray ‘Rabbits’ Warren once referred to his daughter Holly as his ‘prize apple’.
And his words still ring true, as the 77-year-old was seen accompanying his beloved daughter from hospital after she underwent a cosmetic nose surgery in Sydney on Monday.
Ray and his tattooed daughter were seen leaving an exclusive cosmetic surgery clinic in Double Bay, before making their way to a local cafe to pick up take-away breakfast.

Rarely-seen Holly, who is a young mother, sported a bruised face and covered her nose with a bandage.
She dressed down in a pair of black leggings and white T-shirt, while carrying her belongings in a backpack worn across her chest.
Ray, who is regarded as the ‘voice of rugby league’, meanwhile looked relaxed in a pink T-shirt and blue Champion shorts.

As the pair arrived at the cafe, doting Ray took the lead by ordering at the counter while Holly stood behind him.
Ray welcomed Holly with his second wife Cher when he was 54 years old.
‘She has given me a new outlook on life. Holly is my prize apple,’ he told The Sydney Morning Herald in 2010.

‘She is the gold medal. Health and happiness are the most important things and I have both,’ he said.
Ray also shares two sons from his first marriage, Fox Sport News presenter Chris and media director Mark.
At the time of Holly’s birth, Ray was already a grandfather.

Despite his incredible career, Ray has never been shy to discuss his shortcomings as a father to his sons.
Speaking to The Australian in 2017, Ray admitted he was too focussed on building his career to give Mark and Chris the emotional attention they needed.
‘I don’t know whether I was there enough for them and I guess it was because I was trying to chase my dream,’ he said, before clarifying: ‘My sons are proud of me and Holly’s proud of me.’

Ray started his career calling the game for regional radio station 2LF in Young, in the South West Slopes region of New South Wales.
In 2014 he was awarded an Order of Australia Media for his contribution to the broadcast media industry as a sports commentator.
In the same year, he published a book titled ‘The Voice’, about his life and time as a legendary sports commentator.

Although his first love will always be calling the NRL, Ray has also called swimming and appears on The Footy Show and radio regularly.
Meanwhile, Holly appears set for a career as a social media influencer, if her Instagram feed is anything to go by.
