‘Very poor role model’: Melbourne WAG Rebecca Judd is called out by trolls for not social distancing amid COVID-19 spike in Victoria

She’s been complaining about missing her favourite spicy margaritas throughout lockdown.

So it was little surprise that Rebecca Judd jumped on the opportunity to go out on the town on Friday, despite some suburbs of Melbourne re-entering lockdown amid a COVID-19 spike in Victoria.

The 37-year-old WAG squeezed in close with JAGGAD co-director Michelle Greene to take a selfie.

‘Spicy margis with my girl,’ Rebecca wrote in the caption.

‘Social distancing?’ Another asked, while a third replied: ‘Couldn’t agree more.’

A total of 23 patients are in Victorian hospitals, with six fighting for life in intensive care as the state suffers what appears to be a second wave of the deadly virus.

Melbourne’s north west, where 36 suburbs have been shut down, has suffered the most cases with postcodes 3064, 3047, 3031 and 3060 recording the highest totals this week.

As of Friday, there are 442 active cases across the state – with only half of these in the locked down hotspot suburbs.

The figure is 66 more than the day before in what is Melbourne’s 17th consecutive day of double-digit increases
