Rebel Wilson shares cryptic post about ‘bad news’ and says she’s ‘struggling with fertility’

Rebel Wilson hinted she’s ‘struggling with fertility’ in a cryptic Instagram post on Sunday.

The actress, 41, shared an image of herself standing by the ocean, along with a caption that suggested she had received ‘bad news’.

‘I got some bad news today and didn’t have anyone to share it with… but I guess I gotta tell someone,’ began the Pitch Perfect star.

‘To all the women out there struggling with fertility, I feel ya,’ the Sydney-born star continued. 

‘The universe works in mysterious ways and sometimes it all doesn’t make sense…but I hope there’s light about to shine through all the dark clouds,’ Wilson concluded.

Last year, Rebel revealed that she wanted to get healthy in 2020 because she had decided to freeze her eggs, in case she wants to start a family in future.

She added: ‘I was thinking about fertility and having good quality eggs in the bank, so I was like – OK, I’m going to do this. I’m going to get healthy.’

As part of her ‘year of health’, the Pain & Gain star shed a whopping 30 kilograms in 2020.

Then in early February, Rebel split with her boyfriend Jacob Busch, after the couple had dated for a little more than a year.

The comedian and the businessman made their first red carpet appearance together at Prince Albert‘s Planetary Health Gala in Monaco in September 2020.   

Prior to her relationship with Busch, Wilson briefly dated stuntman Aden Stay in 2017.    

The sad news follows an upbeat Sunday post in which Rebel proudly flaunted her curves in a wetsuit while posing for a series of photos on the set of her new film in the UK.

In the Instagram image, the black neoprene diving gear clung to the Australian actress’ body, highlighting her trimmed down physique.

Rebel had been shooting scenes with her co-star Charlotte Gainsbourg for upcoming drama film, The Almond and the Seahorse, in Merseyside, England.

According to Deadline, The Almond and The Sea Horse is a feature adaptation of Kaite O’Reilly’s stage play of the same name.

The project – directed by Tom Stern and actor Celyn Jones – follows the journeys of an architect and an archaeologist as they attempt to save their relationships after suffering brain injuries.

While Rebel’s role and a release date are yet to be revealed, she joins Celyn, Danish performer Trine Dyrholm and The Kumars at No. 42 icon Meera Syal in the star-studded indie pic.

This comes after Rebel stripped off her clothes for a racy Instagram Story post this week.

On Tuesday, she shared a racy image of herself in dressing room wearing only a revealing black leotard.

‘She’s glamorous on set today!’ the blonde wrote over her photo.

Rebel followed that up with a second image showing her backside that revealed the bodysuit had a thong bottom. 

Rebel made 2020 her ‘year of health’ and worked hard to overhaul her diet and fitness habits.

She shared a body-positive message with fans, encouraging them not to judge themselves based on their weight.
