Savage rapper Megan was reportedly shot by fellow rapper Tory Lanez after a Hollywood Hills house party on July 12.

The pair had been romantically linked after appearing on each other’s social media but never confirmed any relationship.

Megan was seen leaving the Canadian rapper’s vehicle with a bloody foot after he allegedly opened fire following an argument. He was later arrested for possession of a concealed weapon.

Rihanna made sure to support Megan given her own history with domestic violence.

In 2009 the star – full name Robyn Rihanna Fenty – was brutally assaulted by then-boyfriend Chris Brown after an argument between the singers escalated.

Brown was charged with felony assault and making criminal threats. After initially pleading not guilty, the X singer pleaded guilty to a felony and accepted a plea deal of community labor, five years of probation, and domestic violence counseling.

Reflecting on what she described as a ‘dangerous’ relationship in a conversation on 20/20 in 2009, she said: ‘The more in love we became, the more dangerous we became for each other, equally as dangerous.’

Rihanna and Chris would go on to have a brief reunion around 2012/2013 and are said to still be ‘close friends.’

For Megan, however, the incident was still ripe.

The rapper shed tears as she opened up about being shot for the first time since the July 12th incident this Monday.

Hot Girl Meg – full name Megan Jovon Ruth Pete – didn’t mention anyone else involved, despite reports that fellow rapper Tory Lanez was the one who shot her.

The rapper called surgery ‘super scary’ and ‘the worst experience of my life’ but said she was blessed that the bullets didn’t hit any major bones or tendons.

Meg then addressed people who mocked her trauma, saying: ‘It’s not funny. It’s nothing to joke about. It was nothing for y’all to go and make up fake stories about.’

She denied getting physical with anyone, saying ‘I didn’t deserve to get shot. I didn’t do s***.’

The Girls In The Hood rapper hit back at rumors she was ‘protecting’ people by not speaking up sooner, telling viewers she was still processing everything.

‘I wasn’t protecting anybody, I just wasn’t ready to speak,’ Megan said. ‘That’s not no s*** you just immediately get on the internet and start talking about and that’s a lot of y’all muthaf***in problem.’

‘Y’all take y’all whole life to Instagram and Twitter and make it a f***in’ diary and that’s not, that’s not me. So, fuck y’all and them fake a** blogs and y’all fake a** sources and my fake a** friends.’

Tears continued to flow as she explained how she was too trusting of ‘fake friends’ after having lost her mom and dad.

‘I’m so nice. Imagine being 25 and you don’t have both of your parents,’ she told fans.

‘My mama was my best friend and I’m still really not over that. So, you kinda try to fill your space with a bunch of people that you think making you happy. Like, it’s a lot.’

She went on to thank her true blue friends though, saying: ‘Thank God for the people around me that are actually here for me and are actually my friends and don’t want s*** from me, would never turn on me for any amount of money, no amount of clout. That wouldn’t make up stories about me to save face.’

She never mentioned Tory or anyone else by name though.

Rapper Lanez allegedly shot Megan’s feet on the early morning of July 12 during an argument after a Hollywood Hills house party.

According to TMZ, Megan was attempting to get out of the SUV she was in with Tory when he opened fire inside the vehicle.

Footage shows the police ordering Megan and Tory to leave the vehicle and put their hands in the air as her feet leave bloody prints on the sidewalk.

Megan spoke about her injuries last week, when she denied claims she was arrested alongside Tory, who was charged with carrying a concealed weapon.

She wrote on Instagram at the time: ‘The narrative that is being reported about Sunday’s morning events are inaccurate and I’d like to set the record straight. On Sunday morning, I suffered gunshot wounds, as a result of a crime that was committed against me and done with the intention to physically harm me.

Megan added: ‘I was never arrested, the police officers drove me to the hospital where I underwent surgery to remove the bullets.’

She continued: ‘I’m incredibly grateful to be alive and that I’m expected to make a full recovery, but it was important for me to clarify the details about this traumatic night. I’m currently focused on my recovery, so I can return back to my life and back to making music as soon as possible.’

And captioning the post, she added: ‘I was never arrested. This whole experience was an eye opener and a blessing in disguise. I hate that it took this experience for me to learn how to protect my energy.’

The rising rapper has since revealed she feels ‘traumatized’ after suffering gunshot wounds ‘as a result of a crime that was committed against’ her.

In a tweet posted last Friday the rapper hit out at those who have been joking about the situation online, as she says she is ‘real life hurt’ by the incident.

Megan wrote on Twitter: ‘Black women are so unprotected & we hold so many things in to protect the feelings of others w/o considering our own.’

She added: ‘It might be funny to y’all on the internet and just another messy topic for you to talk about but this is my real life and I’m real life hurt and traumatized.’
