Robbie Williams and Ayda Field are forced to postpone their vow renewal in celebration of their 10th wedding anniversary amid coronavirus

Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field have been forced to cancel his vow renewal ceremony next month to mark their 10th wedding anniversary.

The singer, 46, and his wife, 41, planned to celebrate the milestone with a ceremony at their £26million Beverly Hills mansion before the coronavirus pandemic hit.

The couple, who reportedly planned to involve their four children in their special day, are planning to host the celebration in the future.

Father-of-four Robbie revealed how he would ‘love to celebrate’ the day but told The Mirror: ‘I don’t think this year because we would like our friends to be there.’

Robbie, whose parents Jan and Pete were also planning to travel to the U.S., said his milestone anniversary is ‘more momentous’ than having record sales or winning a Brit award.

The former Take That frontman said the achievement that he has been a ‘good boy’ and a ‘good husband’ for the past decade is bigger than any career breakthrough.

Robbie praised Ayda for being a source of stability throughout their relationship and said having a family is ‘a different level’.

The singer added how the birth of his children filled the ‘blanks’ left by the ‘universe’.

Ayda and Robbie’s daughter Teddy was a bridesmaid at their friends Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s royal wedding in October 2018.

The mum has already warned her little girl the renewal of their vows won’t be quite as extravagant as the royal affair.

She said: ‘Oh my goodness, first of all she’s never been in a wedding whatsoever and that is a big wedding and I remember when she was waving out of the car, Rob and I had just got out of the church and we were like, “Teddy Teddy!” And she gave us a mini glance and was like, “I’m back to my people.”

‘She’s only six-year’s old and she’s just turned six although I did say to her, “Don’t think all weddings are like this, your wedding is not going to be like this.”

‘Mummy and daddy got married in our back yard and our dogs were bridesmaids.’

The X Factor judge admitted the proposal was a huge surprise but she gushed she was excited to start planning the big day for a second time during an appearance on Loose Women last summer.

She said: ‘I will be renewing my vows. Teddy’s going to be like “this is it” and thoroughly underwhelmed. I need a tiara, I need bridesmaids!

‘You know our first wedding was small so we need a big dress. We haven’t planned it, he surprised me at my birthday with the proposal so I’m excited but I think I’ll be doing all the planning, this was at my fortieth. I had no idea he was going to that!’
