‘I was so nervous!’ Rochelle Humes reveals she failed her driving test FIVE times after insisting on using her own car bought by her nan
She was a successful pop star as part of The Saturdays before carving out an impressive presenting career.
But it appears that Rochelle Humes wasn’t as successful when it comes to motoring as she revealed that she failed her driving test a whopping five times.
Speaking on Thursday’s This Morning, the TV star, 32, revealed she was ‘so nervous’ to get behind the wheel, and explained how she insisted on taking the test in her own car bought by her nan.

Rochelle, who is filling in for Holly Willoughby this week, opened up about her driving disaster following a segment with a woman dubbed Britain’s worst driver.
Speaking to co-host Phillip Schofield, the beauty, who didn’t disclose when she actually passed, explained: ‘It took me four times, mum actually confirmed it took five times.’
Aghast by her revelation, Phillip, 59, asked: ‘What went wrong?’, to which Rochelle replied: ‘Me, apparently!’
She then explained: ‘Here’s what happened. Nan bought me car while learning to drive, a Ford KA, I wanted to take test in my own car and the instructor said they wouldn’t like that as they’d get nervous without dual breaks.

‘I was so nervous, I insisted but next time I took it in his car, I passed. That’s my story.’
Rochelle’s driving confession comes as driving tests in the country can now presume after being halted amid the coronavirus lockdown.
Tests had been suspended since January due to the Covid restrictions, however, they will now restart in England and Wales on Thursday.

Roving reporter Alice Beer was on hand to discuss the news as she reported from a test centre near Ilford in Essex in which she described it as ‘probably one of my most dangerous assignments to date’.

Holly revealed she would be ‘working on something else’ for the week which she ‘can’t wait’ to share with her followers, as she thanked Rochelle for filling her shoes.
She wrote: ‘Vitamin D, caffeine and a side order of distraction from Chester. Working on something else next week which I can’t wait to share with you all…. Thank you to the lovely @rochellehumes for keeping my side of the sofa warm… x’.
Eamonn Holmes and his wife Ruth Langsford stood in for Holly and Phillip for a week and then last week, Alison and Dermot covered for the regular hosts and treated viewers to their on-screen frolics.
