Roxy Jacenko enjoys a stroll with her children Pixie, eight, and Hunter, five, in Centennial Park

Sydney PR queen Roxy Jacenko revealed she enlisted the help of a primary school teacher in order to homeschool her two kids.

But on Tuesday, the 39-year-old public relations mogul opted to enjoy a break with her two little ones: Pixie, eight, and Hunter, five.

Taking to Instagram, Roxy showed the pair playfully collapsed on a bench during a walk in Centennial Park.

In the adorable photo Hunter was seen laying on the bench, while older sister Pixie rested herself on his lower back.

‘Centennial Park – such an incredible spot,’ Roxy captioned the photograph.

Roxy revealed that she has hired a former teacher to the Sydney Morning Herald on Tuesday, to assist her in homeschooling her children.

‘Over the past four weeks, I have been working with a former school teacher for two hours a day to assist me with both kids,’ Roxy said.

She candidly added the work of the primary schoolers has become a little more complex than she remembers.

‘The work of an eight-year-old is far more complex than I can ever remember.’

Roxy has been open about the trials and tribulations of homeschooling, with her bringing her children along to her flagship business, Sweaty Betty PR.

The savvy businesswoman shared a photograph of Pixie earlier this month, letting followers know she was having trouble with the amount of school work.

‘This little monkey left the house in tears feeling like she couldn’t keep up with all her work as part of homeschooling (anyone would think the kids are in final year of med school) – she pulled herself together and got on with it GO PIX.’

Roxy herself has been hit by the pandemic hard, with her losing a sizable portion of her PR business due to lockdown measures.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia in March, Roxy said she lost 85 per cent of her business in just three days.

‘I have realised in my past 12 days of isolation, along with seeing my first agency [Sweaty Betty PR] near collapse, that my sanity and stability is more important to me than another Hermès Birkin bag or an Aston Martin,’ she said.

To make ends meet, Roxy is prepared to sell her collection of designer clothes and accessories, which are believed to be worth millions.

Roxy has been struggling to make sense of everything that has been happening around the world lately.

‘I think it was pure shock watching something you started from nothing crumble in 72 hours,’ she said of Sweaty Betty PR’s dramatic downfall.

She added: ‘I did say to Oli [her husband, Oliver Curtis] that it’s lucky I am on a cocktail of anti-anxiety pills to ensure I don’t lose my marbles totally.’
